Service Description

Despite one’s religious background, Calgary CCM aims at providing affordable counseling services to local Chinese population. We wish our centre can be a resting place for those who are weary and burdened, let them experience healing and companionship.

All our counselors received professional, graduate level training, and are professionally certified. All counseling appointments are confidential, to be held at the Calgary CCM Centre.

Our counseling services include

Individual, couple, and family counseling/therapy, premarital counseling, as well as gambling and addiction counseling. We offer a variety of counseling support for a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stresses, emotional management, self-esteem and self-image issues, gambling counseling and supports for gamblers’ family etc.

Other services: we offer different workshops such as Deep Listening, Parenting programs, Understanding gambling and addiction, Depression prevention, Stress management etc.
Our counselors also run workshop about a specific topic in other organizations, churches, or groups.

Session Rates

Have insurance or other coverage $ 100 per session
No insurance or coverage $ 25 per session

Duration of a session: around 75 minutes
Paid by cash or cheque (cheque payable to CCM Canada)

Counseling is available in English, Cantonese (Gambling counseling sessions can be held in Mandarin).

Counselling Location

Counselling hours: Call in for free intake assessment & by appointment

Change / Cancellation: Usual counselling fee will be applied if noticed is less than 24 hours.

Rainbow has worked in child welfare, social services, women shelter, counseling agencies, as well as other non-profit organizations. She is experienced working with various clientele who have adjustment difficulties and intense negative emotions.

Anne Kan陳簡育智

Anne was one of the directors, and a counselor in a non-profit Christian organization in Hong Kong. She offered her service and support, through individual and group work, for gamblers and their family members in dealing with issues arose from gambling.
